How could the IESE MBA change your life and your career?

Come and meet our admissions team in Japan for one-to-one conversations and find out:

Why the IESE MBA ranks among the top programs in the world
How the IESE MBA will expose you to business practices spanning 5 continents
What we mean by “experiential learning” and how it transforms mindsets

* MBA Admissions One-to-One is only open to prospective applicants who have not submitted their applications yet. It is an informal 1-to-1 meeting for 30 minutes: an opportunity for applicants to resolve questions and know better about IESE by individually talking with Tomofumi Nishida, the Associate Director of IESE MBA Admissions.

* “Social Business – A Bridge between Tohoku and Europe” is a special dialogue on that topic at Venture Café Tokyo between Renata Piazza from Hasekura Program and Tomofumi Nishida from IESE Tokyo Office. They will discuss

1. Challenges and advantages a female foreign entrepreneur encounters in working in regional Japan

2. Connection between MBA and career around social business

3. Internship program joined by MBA students to explore any new business model and social model in a regional city

Renata Piazza

Born in Sicily, studied Japanese at the University of Venice and obtained an MSc in Politics of Asia at SOAS, University of London. After working in the airline and financial sector, Renata moved to Barcelona where she worked as Project Coordinator for Casa Asia, a think-tank established by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote multilateral relations between Spanish speaking countries and Asia.

In 2013, right after the Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami, she set up Hasekura Program, an International exchange and training program for Japanese social entrepreneurs, innovative SMEs and local authorities, aimed at supporting the transition to a "post-growth" society.

In 2016, Renata moved to Tono, Iwate Prefecture (North East Japan), where she co-funded "to know, knowing Tono, knowing hidden Japan" a pilot project of regional revitalisation that wishes to empower, revitalize and internationalize the local community.
